AGARTALA, Oct 11 (TIWN): Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Deepak Majumdar inspected the ongoing construction of a covered drain under the Smart City project in the Laxmi Narayan Bari Road area. The project aims to improve the drainage system and prevent waterlogging during the monsoon season.

During the inspection, the Mayor directed the officials to ensure that the box culvert is constructed properly to facilitate easy drainage of water. He also emphasized that the AMC is taking all necessary steps to ensure that the work is carried out without causing any inconvenience to pedestrians.
