AGARTALA, Oct 8 (TIWN): Following Agartala Trinamool Office vandalism in front of police, West Trinamool leaders led by MP Sayani Ghosh, MP Sushmita Dev reached Tripura on Wednesday. But as soon as they arrived, a strange situation erupted with no vehicles picking the Trinamool MPs and the hired vehicle drivers were threatened to leave the airport. In protest Trinamool MPs sat in front of the Airport asking, if BJP delegations can visit in Trinamool ruled West Bengal everyday, why Trinamool delegations can't visit in BJP ruled Tripura.

Trinamool delegations are visiting Agartala following the attack on Trinamool party office by BJP supporters on Tuesday.

BJP supporters and leaders rushed to Trinamool Agartala party office and vandalized the party office on Tuesday evening as a demonstration against attack on BJP delegations in West Bengal.

On Wednesday Trinamool delegations reached Tripura, but they alleged their vehicle drivers were threatened and forced to leave the Agartala Airport and all vehicles were instructed not to pick the Trinamool members. This led the Trinamool delegations to protest there.
