AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): A family in Charilam Aralia village is struggling to cope with the loss of their livestock, which was stolen by thieves on Friday night. Khokan Choudhury, a poor farmer, reported that a cow and a calf were taken from his cowshed.
The stolen animals were the family's primary source of income, and their loss has left them financially strained. Khokan Choudhury and his wife, Gouri Choudhury, are heartbroken and are seeking help from the authorities to recover their livestock.
The Bishalgarh police station has taken cognizance of the incident and is investigating the matter. The police visited the family's residence on Saturday and assured them of doing everything possible to track down the thieves and recover the stolen animals.
