AGARTALA, Sep 26 (TIWN): A voluntary blood donation camp was organized at the Chief Medical Officer's office in Sipahijala district as part of the "Sustha Nari Swa-Shakti Parivar Abhiyan" initiative. The camp was inaugurated by Sipahijala District Magistrate Dr. Siddhartha Shib Jaiswal.

The district magistrate emphasized the importance of blood donation, stating that it is one of the greatest gifts one can give to humanity. The event was attended by Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Medical Officer Dr. Rajib Sarkar, District Family Welfare Officer Dr. Deep Debbarma, and Subir Kumar Biswas, President of the Laboratory Association's Sipahijala district committee.

The blood donation camp is a commendable effort by the Government Medical Laboratory Technology Employees Association's Sipahijala district committee to promote the noble cause of blood donation and support the healthcare system.
