AGARTALA, Sep 20 (TIWN): Ruling and opposition leaders have visited barbaric murder victim Anjali Sarkar's home. Minister Pranajit Singh Roy also met the victim's family. Anjali Sarkar who had argument with her family was found burnt and dead in Mirza area. CCTV footage at the opposite side of a Bank could capture the incident's glimpse. Opposition party members also visited her house and MLA Sudip Roy Barman said that one BJP MLA's nephew is involved in this crime. Congress leaders also met the Kakraban police station OC demanding faster and fair investigation.

Reacting to the incident, Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said the incident has trembled the entire state and such a brutal crime can not be tolerated.

When mentioned about the ruling party's people's involvement in her murder, he said, "It does not matter who belongs to which party but the culprits to be punished and law will take its own course."
