AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath held a meeting at Bishalgarh to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the upcoming Puja festivities. The meeting was convened after frequent power outages in the area led to public unrest. Minister Nath directed officials to take immediate steps to resolve the issues.

Minister Nath assured that a standby officer would be posted in the area and additional transformers would be kept in the office to ensure quick replacement in case of any breakdown. The power department employees will work without any holiday during Puja to maintain uninterrupted power supply, he added.
