Tripura Govt announced major police reshuffle, with 43 officers have been reshuffled.
Krishnendu Chakraborty is promoted from DIG Crime & additional charge of SP (SB) to IGP (Intelligence & Security) with additional charge of SP (SB) as part of a major reshuffle in the police administration in Tripura.

In a significant administrative move, the state government has ordered the transfer and posting of 43 IPS and TPS officers across various districts and specialized units. The notification aims to enhance public service through strategic reallocation of personnel.

New Roles for 43: Tripura Govt Orders Major Bureaucratic Shift in Police Dept (Key Appointments):

• Krishnendu Chakraborty: DIG (Crime) & SP (SB) to IGP (Security) & SP (SB)

• Sanjay Roy: DIG, KTDS, PTA to DIGP, Agartala (Crime)

• Prabir Majumder: DIG (HQ), Agartala to DIG (HQ) & DIGP

• Timir Das: SP (MTF) to Comdt. (BWHGBN)

• Koloy Roy: Comdt. (SAF) to SP (MTF) & STF

• Kishan Kumar: SP (SCR) to Comdt. Khowai, CIAT

• Sujit Kumar Pal: Comdt., 13th Bn., TSR to AIGP (Estt.)

• Shubhransu Dhar: Comdt., 10th Bn., TSR

• Jyotishman Daschoudhuri: Comdt., 5th Bn., TSR to Comdt., 7th Bn., TSR

• Narayan Roy: Comdt., 2nd Bn., TSR to Comdt., 13th Bn., TSR

• Choudhury Deb Nath: Comdt., 11th Bn., TSR to Comdt. (Anti-Narcotics)
