AGARTALA, Sep 2 (TIWN): Tipra Motha party MLAs met Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday, alleging that BJP MLA Pramod Reang's people, in drunken condition, came to his MLA quarter and threatened him on Monday night. Tipra Motha legislators said that there is a massive law and order issue inside the MLA hostel and unknown people keep coming. With this, the MLAs demanded proper security setup and register maintenance inside the MLA hostel to track the visitors.
Talking to media, Tipra Motha MLA Philip Reang said, he does not know the people who threatened him but they came to BJP MLA Promod Reang's quarter.
He stated that a total of four persons were involved in this incident and this was not an isolated one, with the law and order situation is detriorating inside the MLA hostel.
The Tipra Motha MLA also lodged a complaint with the NCC PS, demanding action against the culprits.
