BISHALGARH, Aug 29 (TIWN): Bishalgarh police busted illegal wood cutting and seized a huge quantity of wood from the Murabari area on Thursday. Though initially police could not arrest anyone, but few suspects are on the police’s radar, said a source. It has been informed that, few of the people who are involved in this racket are politically linked. In other words, they might be misusing the political tag for these illegal activities. Sepahijala SP Rajib Sutradhar, Bishalgarh PS OC-Bijoy Das, Forest Department officials, TSR jawans were present during the raid.

Police did not reveal the suspect’s name in this bust.

The seized items have been brought to the Charilam Forest Office.
