AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): Enforcement Directorate officials on Tuesday visited CPI-M leader Pabitra Kar’s house. However, later source informed the ED officials did not enter the property targeting Pabitra Kar but his nephew Utpal Kar. There are allegedly fraudulence allegations against Utpal Kar. ED officials investigated in total of four places in the state that included Utapal Kar’s father-in-law’s home in Nalchar Haradhan Baidya, a former Bank Manager. Haradhan Baidya’s daughter, Tanushri Baidya, is married to Utpal Kar. Tanushri Baidya is also an Air Hostess by profession.

At Camper Bazar, ED visited Swarup Banik’s home, a former Fire Service official. He is the brother of TCS officer Somesh Banik.
