AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): The Indian Building Congress, Tripura center, organized its 19th annual general conference, including PWD, RD, UD Departments. The meeting was held in the presence of state's senior engineers at the PWD conference hall.
The seminar was on “Environmental Hazards in the Building and its living conditions and remedial measures to combat such threats in the 21st century.
Minister Sushanta Chowdhury attended the conference and praised the organizers for their initiatives to improve the infrastructure in the Northeastern region.
“I don’t have in my mind that such types of initiatives undertaken on regular intervals by the Indian Building Congress would speak in volumes in the coming days when it comes to the true development of the state,” said the Minister.
