AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): Secretary of Health & Family Welfare of Tripura Kiran Gitte on Sunday informed that around 300 Doctors have been recruited in the state for health services’ improvement in the last two months. The press conference at GB hospital was organized to address developments, issues related to GB hospital and IGM, and going beyond the two hospitals, the health secretary mentioned, in the last two months, 216 doctors, 45 specialists, two superspecialists, and a few on contracts, totalling around 300 doctors, were recruited recently.

Gitte further mentioned that initiatives have been taken to recruit more lab technicians and other medical employees.

At the same time, infrastructure development has been kept in focus, according to Gitte.
