AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): A young man named Animesh Das (25) is fighting for his life after being hit by an ambulance in Manik Bhandar, near Harchandra School. The incident occurred when Animesh was unloading goods from an online marketing company's vehicle.

The ambulance, which was returning from Kula District Hospital after dropping off a patient, hit Animesh with great force, causing severe head injuries.

Animesh was initially taken to Kamalpur Hospital and later referred to Dhalai District Hospital in Kula for further treatment. His condition is reportedly critical. The accident has sent shockwaves through the community, and people are expressing concern over the increasing number of road accidents in the area.
