School Teacher scammed by online frauds : Lost Rs. 56,000

AGARTALA, Aug 11 (TIWN): With the increasing online scam alarming instances, a school teacher was trapped by a fraud online, and ultimately lost his Rs. 56,000.
The incident happened with Belonia Institute teacher Dipti Malla, who lost his money in two phases.
Resident of Belonia constituency, Booth No-21, Malla received a phone call from the number 8294098289.
After talking to the person, he installed an app and wrote 35/21 and his name in capital letters in the app.
He also followed similar instructions as suggested by the online caller.
Soon after that, the teacher lost his saved money in two phases, totalling Rs. 56,000 which he lost from his account.
He has now complained to the police station.
