AGARTALA, Aug 11 (TIWN): Family of a patient who died allegedly due to wrong treatment at ILS Hospital on Sunday night in Agartala is planning to take legal action against the hospital authority. The patient, Swapan Sutradhar, was fitted with a pacemaker worth Rs. 14 lakh, but he died within two hours of the procedure. The family claims that the hospital's negligence led to his death and is demanding strict action against the hospital.

“Don’t come to ILS Hospital. They can not provide any services. My mother also died in this way and now my father too,” said Swapan Sutradhar’s bereaved son at ILS hospital.

“Within two hours of its installation, my father died, and now they said they won’t take money for it. It’s evident that because of the wrong treatment, my father died. They know nothing. Strict action should be taken against the hospital,” said the younger son.
