AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Salema police arrested two youths, residents of Uttar Pradesh, in connection with fake residential addresses. The two arrested persons, Rupesh Kumar and Pradip Kumar appeared in the Staff Selection Commission examination and also passed the examinations. Whereas they wrote initially that Kamalpur is their address, but failed to provide a validated address during verification. Both were still unaware of their actions’ consequences and started for Kamalpur from Uttar Pradesh. As soon as they reached Ambassa railway station, the police arrested them.
Centering on this incident, hundreds of people gathered to watch them at the police station.
There are continuous allegations regarding fake PRTC provided by other states’ job seekers. This incident once again has raised questions about the possible rise of malpractices.
