KAILASHAHAR, Aug 9 (TIWN): The CPI(M) has strongly criticized the Kailashahar police over the deteriorating law and order situation in the area. CPI(M) district secretary Krishnendu Chowdhury alleged that the police were inactive and ineffective in addressing various incidents, including thefts and attacks on students and teachers.
Chowdhury claimed that despite repeated incidents of theft in schools, including the Ramkrishna Siksha Pratishthan, Shrirampur Suryamani Nagar School, and the RKI School, the police had failed to crack any cases. He also alleged that the administration was deliberately remaining silent on these issues.
The CPI(M) leader also expressed concern over the education system, citing delays in book distribution, teacher shortages, and an unscientific curriculum. He further alleged that drug mafias were operating freely, and the police were not taking effective action against them.
Chowdhury demanded that the administration take immediate action to address these issues and ensure the safety and security of citizens.
