AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Tripura Congress celebrated World's Indigenous Peoples’ Day on Saturday in Ompi, Amarpur.
The celebration was organized at Amarpur Dalak Community hall, attended by Congress State President Asish Saha, District president Titan Pal, Amarpur Block Congress Committee President Haradhan Das, Youth Congress leader Bittu Das, Amarpur Block Youth Congress President Rakesh Das.
At the celebration event, 40 voters from 14 families joined the Congress party, leaving CPI-M party.
