Khowai, Aug 7 (TIWN): A gruesome murder has shaken the residents of Khowai's Champahawra police station area, specifically in the Dinokobra region. The body of 40-year-old Narayan Debnath, son of former teacher Jitendra Debnath from Mahadev Tilla, was recovered with bloodstains. According to eyewitnesses, Debnath was last seen alive yesterday.

The police have taken custody of the body and brought it to Khowai District Hospital for further examination. A forensic team has been dispatched to the crime scene to investigate the matter. Based on preliminary investigations, the police suspect foul play and have confirmed that the case is being treated as a murder.
