Fatikroy, Aug 7 (TIWN): The Tripura government's Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department organized a program at the Durga Mandap premises near Fatikroy market in Kumarghat subdivision.

The event was inaugurated by Minister Sudhangshu Das, who lit the lamp to mark the beginning of the program. Other dignitaries present included Unakoti District Council Chairperson Amalendu Das, Kumarghat Block Committee Chairperson Sumati Das, Kumarghat Agricultural Sub-Divisional Officer Uttam Dhar, and local Panchayat representatives.

During the event, farmers from various Gram Panchayets of the constituency were distributed agricultural machinery and equipment. The Minister and other guests highlighted the developmental activities undertaken by the state's Agriculture Department under the current government. The program aimed to support farmers and enhance agricultural productivity in the region.
