AGARTALA, Aug 4 (TIWN): Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Monday visited Thaniel Debbarma’s home, who was killed in a deadly attack by miscreants. The minister also talked to the higher authority to seek a proper investigation into the case. He assured the victim family to be beside them.
The Minister said he was in Delhi when the incident happened, and he was informed about it, which he found heartbreaking.
Daniel just passed Madhyamik examination and went out with his friends. Some miscreants attacked him, leaving him critically injured.
Daniel was rushed to the hospital but could not survive. He breathed his last at GB Hospital.
The Minister assured that the miscreants will be punished as per the law. He also appealed to the police to take immediate action to deliver justice to the victim's family.
