The incident occurred when a group of outsiders allegedly entered the college premises and started misbehaving with students, attempting to create a ruckus.

 

The situation was brought under control by the prompt arrival of Kailashahar police and TSR personnel. However, the college campus remains tense, with a heavy police presence.

 

Dipanjan Bhattacharjee, president of the college unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, alleged that the repeated visits by outsiders have been disrupting the college environment, and despite repeated complaints to the authorities, no action has been taken.

 

The college authorities have refrained from commenting on the incident, while the police have initiated an investigation. Locals have expressed concern over the incident, emphasizing the need for swift action to ensure student safety.
