The arrested youths, identified as Ravi Kumar and Oom Nath Yadav, were allegedly trying to transport the contraband to another state.

 

According to the police, the duo was intercepted during a vehicle check in the Trisha Bari area. When questioned, they attempted to flee, but were apprehended by the police. A search of their shoulder bags revealed 21 packets of dry ganja.

 

The police have registered a case against the accused and are investigating the matter. The OC of Teliamura police station, Jayanta Dey, stated that the accused were trying to board a train from Teliamura to transport the ganja to another state. This is one of the recent incidents of ganja seizure in the Teliamura area.
