Shantir Bazar, July 22, 2025 (TIWN): The locals of Kathanlia Raipara ADC Village under Shantir Bazar subdivision have approached the media to bring attention to the abandoned Smoke House project. The project, which was started in 2024, has been stalled for months, leaving the structure incomplete.

The locals claim that the contractor, who was awarded the project by a company from outside the state, has abandoned the site after completing only a portion of the work. According to them, the quality of work done so far is substandard. This project is one of the 16 projects awarded to the company in the ADC area, none of which have been completed.

The locals are demanding that the project be completed soon, maintaining the quality of work. They are waiting to see what steps the ADC administration will take to investigate the matter and complete the project correctly.
