Rishyamukh, July 20, 2025 (TIWN): A severe water crisis has been plaguing the tribal community in Chhankhala Bari area of Kailashnagar ADC Village, Rishyamukh block. Despite the government's efforts to provide clean drinking water, the residents of the area are forced to rely on streams, rivulets, and ponds for their water needs.
The community has expressed deep frustration and anger against the local MDC, Debjit Tripura, accusing him of neglecting their issues despite his promises during the last election. The residents are struggling to access clean drinking water, and many are falling prey to water-borne diseases due to the lack of proper filtration facilities.
As the Village Council election approaches, the community is skeptical about the MDC's promises and is determined to make an informed decision.
