AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday inaugurated a new educational program 'Tripura School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework' (TSQAAF) at Rabindra Bhawan, Agartala. The Chief Minister said, this new program will help to take Tripura Education system to the next level. Addressing the occasion at Rabindra Bhawan, Dr. Saha said, “It was a time when not all schools in Tripura were not synchronized with CBSE curriculum. When our government started the CBSE curriculum in all schools, it started centralizing the education system, starting a new chapter for the future generation, which enables students to compete at the national level.”
“Under the new education policy under Prime Minister Modi, attempts have been made to take the state education system to the national level with a common question paper set and curriculum for the students nationwide. When the question papers are same across the nation, then it prepares a student in our state to compete with students nationwide,” said CM. “Otherwise, students, when they go outside the state, face difficulties that we have also faced in our time due to a lack of nationalized curriculum.”
CM also mentioned another existing program ‘State School Standard Authority’ (SSSA), which improves the education system by monitoring the standard of education and informing the authority to work on what is lacking in the school. “Each school has such an independent body that monitors the standard.”
