AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): Adding another room to the century-old Tripura police’s expertise in the state of Tripura, a Cyber Crime Police Station was inaugurated in the hands of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Saturday in AD Nagar, Agartala.
The cyber police station has been added to the crime branch of the Tripura police.
CM postponed his Dhalai District program for a day to attend this crucial program, which he said was an extremely important event.
Addressing the occasion, Dr. Saha said, “Today is a great day and a day to be proud that we got this police station.”
“We live in Tripura but are connected to the whole world digitally. This new branch is to help by stopping digital frauds, which has been termed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Digital Arrest,” said CM.
