AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): The Vaishnavpur-Banrai Bari road in southern Tripura, once a vital lifeline, has become a nightmare for locals due to the constant movement of ONGC's heavy loader trucks.
The 8-kilometer stretch is now filled with potholes and mud, making it nearly impassable.
Locals, including Jum farmers, struggle to transport goods and patients, while emergency services are severely affected.
Residents are frustrated with the lack of action from authorities, despite repeated promises.
They warned of a larger movement if the issue isn't addressed.
