Police said that total of three cartons of contraband items were seized, and inside each of the cartons, six smaller containers were found, which were filled with cough syrups.

The market value of the seized items would be around Rs. 13 lakhs.

The driver, meanwhile, managed to escape from the spot but police seized the vehicle, which would help to trace the driver’s identity.
