TIWN June 6, 2025

AGARTALA, June 6 (TIWN): Tripura Teachers Eligibility Test - 2025 candidates on Friday met TRBT Chairman Pratyush Deb to discuss their exam paper issues. The teaching job aspirants said they could not answer all questions correctly because of wrong questions, confusing questions, wrong spelling, mistakes in punctuation misleading the underlying meaning of the question. All they want is “star” against each such question, which means to give marks for such questions’ answers, regardless of what the answer key says.
The TET candidates said that because of confusing questions, many students answered incorrectly. The candidates also alleged that due to structural errors in the questions, including punctuation errors, many candidates gave wrong answers as they could not understand the meaning.
The agitating job aspirants also said, for the same question, TET 2022 and TET 2025’s answers are shown to be different, which is another proof of the unreliability of the questions and answer keys.
A deputation was placed before the TRBT chairman seeking a solution to the matter.
The candidates have already applied online for verifications, which they said are not very helpful, leading them to come for the physical visit to the office.
“We can’t write more than 2 to 3 lines in the online application. Consequently, we are unable to raise the entire matter. That’s why today we are visiting the office,” a job aspirant said.
Earlier, TET candidates during similar agitations were arrested sometimes, and sometimes, they failed to meet the higher authority.
