AGARTALA, May 28 (TIWN): Tripura Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal, who was also the Education Minister during his first term in the BJP led cabinet, rebuked the Education system of Tripura under Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE). However, the Minister said that the education system was not ruined recently but it's a consequence of the the Left Govt's ruling in the state. As a result candidates are unable to crack the exams. "You (journalists) often make mistakes without understanding the underlying meaning of qualified candidates," said Nath. "Qualified does not mean the qualification but the ability to get the job."
"Suppose the chief minister has asked to recruit hundreds of candidates for the police and accordingly, after interviews, it was done. Does it mean others are not qualified?" said Nath.
The Minister also proclaimed that the infrastructure under Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) is weak, causing delays in the recruitment.
"Our chief minister is now talking about making an autonomous, independent recruitment body like TPSC.......just like TET...., so that the recruitment process can be faster," added Nath.
