On 15th May, a theft incident was reported in Krishnanagar Unity hospital, where from a donation box over ten thousand rupees was stolen.

Based on the complaint with the Case No-2025WAG053 dated 25/05/2025 U/S 305/331(4)/3(5) of BNS, police started an investigation.

With the help of CCTV footages, police solved the case and identified the thief.

Along with the remaining donation money, police could also recover ten cell phones, said SDPO Deba Prasad Roy.
