AGARTALA, May 26 (TIWN): It’s not a new drama in the Chandrapur ISBT, but often vehicle services go paralyzed after any clash erupts between the transport workers.
In such an incident, bus drivers stopped vehicle movements in Chandrpur ISBT on Monday after two drivers met in a clash. The clash erupted, centering on the small vehicles carrying long-distance passengers.
In protest of this chaos, where one group is blaming another, the bus services have come to a total halt, resulting in passengers’ suffering.
“We did not know about this unexpected strike. Now, after coming here, we are facing this situation. We are going to Teliamura but are unable to proceed due to the strike,” a passenger said.
“It’s a fight between two people, but now everyone is suffering as they failed to find a solution. I am going to a state-level program and I have to go. But I really don’t know what to do now,” said another passenger who was waiting to check if the issue would resolve quickly. “Because of two persons, everyone is suffering.”
