AGARTALA, May 24 (TIWN): In another shocking report, a 7-year-old minor was raped in Agartala.Based on the complaint, West Agartala police arrested a 32-year-old man named Prasenjit Pal. Talking to media, SDPO Deba Prasad Roy said, “On 19th May, a case was registered at West Agartala Women PS accusing a neighbor of raping her.” “It was alleged that after raping, the victim was threatened and she did not tell her parents but gradually, she was falling sick. Accordingly, she was taken to the hospital where she was immediately admitted,” said the cop.

“It was known from medical test that she was raped and based on that the complaint was lodged. Police have arrested the accused,” Roy said.
