AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): Opposition Congress that has come forward along with other opposition parties extending full support to the Govt of India in the country’s critical time, has organized a “Jai Hind” rally in Agartala on Thursday, waving Indian flags. The rally which was also participated by ex-servicemen was a part of paying respect to the Indian army and security forces who have dedicated their lives for the country and fighting 24X7 protecting the nation and giving befitting replies to Pakistan based terror organizations.

“We are proud of our soldiers. The way the Indian army, navy and security forces are on the ground to protect the nation and dismantling the Pak-based terror camps, it’s great !” said Congress State President Asish Saha in the Jai Hind Yatra.

"We appeal everyone to stay united with the nation at this time," Saha added.

Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman and other Congress leaders were also present on this occasion.
