SONAMURA, May 8 (TIWN): A vehicle loaded with Ganja was seized by Jatrapur police.
However, the driver could manage to escape from the spot, but police started searching for him based on the evidence left behind.
The vehicle bearing number - TRO7A -0702 was carrying 62 KG Ganja worth 3 lakhs rupees.
The vehicle allegedly violated the signal and attempted to rush from the spot but after chasing, TSR jawans, police could catch the vehicle but the driver left the vehicle and escaped inside a forest there.
Inspector Subhankar Saha, and Amar Kishore Debbarma conducted the raid.
Talking about this success, Jatrapur PS OC Subrata Debnath said police in the area have kept keen eyes 24X7 to stop drug cases. He said that as the vehicle could be seized, the driver would also be arrested soon.
