AGARTALA, May 7 (TIWN): Young man Sahin Kabir, who is also the personal cameraperson of Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy died mysteriously. He died after being poisoned, but in a relative’s home. His family, friends demanded justice for Sahin accusing his wife Payel for murdering him and alleged that few relatives Pintu Mia, Sabita Begum, Mustak Begum are involved in his alleged murder. Talking to his an immediate family member at GB hospital, he said, Sahin, a resident of Udaipur, Chanban Netajinagar was called upon phone by his aunt named Sabita and call records shows that she called him twice before he went to her house and from there, Sahin was taken to his sister-in-law law’s home where his wife and mother-in-law also joined. He was poisoned and locked in the home.
He was rushed to Tepania District Hospital and referred to GB hospital. After four days of being admitted to GB hospital, he died.
“His wife did not want to live with him. She told many times in local-level meetings, which were organized for the couple’s counselling, that she won’t live with him. Perhaps she has someone is in her life and evidence has been found regarding an extra marital affair too. Sahin knew about all these but he disagreed to divorce her,” he added.
“He kept on saying, she would change. On the other hand, his wife did not want to come back and started living in her parents’ house,” he stated.
“It’s now a month, she is living there. Many times, panchayat sat with them, but as his wife refused, the panchayat could not do anything, as she did not want to continue the relationship with Sahin. Amid all these, this incident happened,” he said.
