AGARTALA, March 4 (TIWN): The first-ever parcel train has started its journey in the Northeast state Tripura.
The train to operate weekly, on every Sunday, carrying goods from the state.
The Punjab-bound train is also to connect the state with other parts of the nation.
“It will highly benefit the local businessmen here and will provide easy and low-cost export opportunities,” said a Railway official.
