TIWN April 30, 2025

AGARTALA, April 30 (TIWN): Responding to an allegation that BJP Govt is delivering varied data on job recruitment, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said, the previous data did not include die-in-harness like jobs but after adding the die-in-harness jobs, it now stands 17,554 government jobs provided so far since our government formation. The Chief Minister was addressing a job offer letter distribution program for teaching posts at Rabindra Bhawan, and said, “Our Govt wants speedy recruitment along with transparency. We have created new posts and are targeting that the existing posts might also be filled up soon."
“Since our government came to power, due to transparent policy, so far till March, 2025, total 17,554 jobs including die-in-harness jobs, were given. On 26th April, at Rabindra Bhawan, I excluded the die-in-harness job numbers while telling the job figures. Die-in-harness is something that can not be given based on the recruitment process. On the next day, a newspaper asked, how could I give a different figure than my previously claimed job-figure,” said Dr. Saha.
“That day, I was only talking about the jobs which was given through examination process,” he said.
“We are also recruiting people through contractual, outsourcing processes,” added CM.
