TELIAMURA, April 27 (TIWN): 23-year-old housewife Dipanwita Sarkar (Pal), Wife of Tanmoy Sarkar died in mysterious circumstances in Teliamura Shantinagar area in her in-laws home. Doctor said, Dipanwita Sarlar was brought dead to the hospital and a police investigation was necessary. Her body was sent for a post-mortem before being handed over to the family.
Deceased Dipanwaita Sarkar’s parents alleged that she was facing trouble living with her husband, Tanmoy Pal and they had constant arguments over certain issues. Tanmoy allegedly tortured Dipanwita, forcing Dipanwita to leave her in-laws' house, taking shelter at her parents’ home.
Dipanwita’s mother alleged, her son-in-law, Tanmoy Sarkar was having an extramarital affair which was disturbing their married life.
Before the incident, Tanmoy visited Dipanwaita’s home and requested his father-in-law to allow him to take her. The hesitant father, who wanted his daughter’s happiness, allowed him to take her on Thursday.
On Friday, Dipanwita called her mother, fearing that her father-in-law and sister-in-law would set fire to her and lock the door from outside. Before her parents could take action after the horrifying phone call from their daughter, her father-in-law informed in the phone within 20 minutes that Dipanwita had set fire to herself.
Teliamura hospital's on-duty doctor said she was brought dead to the hospital.
