AGARTALA, April 25 (TIWN): As government sectors’ recruitment process are traditionally very lengthy leading sometimes to three to four years to complete the entire process, Tripura Youth Congress Thursday demanded the government should launch annual single-exam system, so that the backlogs end soon and frustration of job seekers does not continue years after years.
The Youth Congress leaders also cited how after years are consumed in job preparations, suddenly the recruitment process is cancelled. Congress said this faster recruitment process would be helpful to avoid such situations.
“Single exam years would escalate the recruitment process for all feeder posts in various departments,” said Tripura Youth Congress President Nil Kamal Saha.
In a letter written to the Chief Secretary, the Congress stated, “After completion of respective courses uncertainty of the future looms large because of the delay dallying of the recruitment process.”
“Because of the absence of IT industries and other medium/heavy industries our youths are totally dependent on Government service sectors,” said the letter requesting further introduction of the single exam system.
The process to benefit the job aspirants and the government both with a faster recruitment, maximum employment, helping the job aspirants to focus more on the exams, avoiding overlapping of aspirants in the merit list, reducing the logistic and financial loss of the recruitment body like TPSC ---- according to the Youth Congress’s letter to the Chief Secretary.
