AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Monday appealed for unity in the state among tribals and non-tribals while addressing the Garia puja festival organized at the Swami Vivekananda stadium in Agartala.
“Some groups try to divide the people. A divide and rule logic works in their thought process. Such people existed earlier and are doing the same now. But we need to come out of such thinking,” said Dr. Saha.
Emphasising on Tripura BJP Govt’s vision for indigenous development, CM said, “We did not know about so many instruments the indigenous population has had. To preserve that, we have kept Rs. 3 crores in 2025 budget.”
“We will do our best to save all the art and culture of our tradition. 122 events were organized by ICA, aiming to celebrate the culture, and over 10,000 artists participated in such events, and 300 artists were sent outside the state,” said CM.
