CHARILAM, April 21 (TIWN): An 11,000-volt wire collapsed onto a church in Charilam's Koroiamura area, narrowly avoiding a major incident.
The incident occurred in Bishramganj's Amtali Village, Ward 4, due to excessive rain and storms in the locality.
Locals reported that they tried to contact the Bishramganj power office multiple times, but received no response.
"Just a few days ago, two cattle died due to an electric accident. We've observed many such instances of negligence, but the TSECL is failing to provide quality services," complained a local resident.
The public demands faster restoration of the electric wire to prevent any unwanted incidents.
