AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): The CPI-M party to support the nationwide strike with 17 points of demands for the working class on May 20.
A discussion meeting was held at CITU office in Agartala.
Addressing the media, CITU leader Panchali Bhattacharjee alleged the central government is trying to end the rights of the working class by introducing laws favoring the company owners.
A total of 10 trade unions have called for the strike, and the Tripura opposition CPI-M has also extended support to the protest.
