However, police have arrested only one person so far named Subrata Dey, who is also the husband of the victim in relation.

The victim, 75% physically challenged was targeted by her husband and his friends.

"A case was registered in our Police Station on 14th March," said Amtali Women PS sub-inspector Susmita Debnath. "The case was filed under 64 clause 2/70 clause 1/74/115 clause 1 BNS."

In the complaint lodged in Amtali PS on March 14, the victim accused her husband of inviting his friends to home for this monstrous crime.
