AGARTALA, March 10 (TIWN): Congress’s student wing NSUI leader Sourabh Kumar Shil has demanded Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha’s resignation who is also the Education Minister.

“BJP is an anti-student Govt. Tripura Chief Minister is neglecting the Education Department totally. Today, Tripura colleges are full of drugs. It never happened in the last many decades but for the last seven years, Tripura's young generation has been addicted to drugs,” said Shil.

“Today schools in Tripura are suffering due to teachers shortage. Vidya Jyoti is a total failure,” he said.

The NSUI leader also accused BJP National President J.P.Nadda of delivering false promises on gifting scooty to Board exam candidates, asking “How a student who passed Madhyamik at 16 years age, will have a driving license before she becomes 18?”
