AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha was addressing the SDM office new building foundation stone laying program on Saturday when he took on the opposition parties’ allegations on developmental sectors. Saha taking advantage of the platform, though it was never meant to take political mileage, said, “When we see Tripura from the sky, we must see the development”.
“When I look down during landing…... in fact all of you must have watched the view from flight, especially when it lands in evening or nighttime…… we can see the glimpses of development. It is felt we are no more behind Kolkata-like cities,” Manik Saha told the crowd
CM received claps from a little section of the audience sitting in the front but the claps did not last long as the majority of the attendees chose not to participate.
“Now, it’s my habit to break a coconut in a function or sit in a kneeling position, I would request the opposition to come and watch these,” CM said this hinting how many projects are being inaugurated nowadays under the BJP Govt.
