AGARTALA, Feb 13 (TIWN): A baby got its life after a successful tumor operation at Tripura Medical College & Dr. B. R.Ambedkar Memorial Teaching Hospital Thursday. The situation was difficult to handle for the medical team because the baby was only 1.7 KG and the tumor that it carried since birth was 100 grams, but cutting all difficulties, the baby survived and is now healthy.

Dr. Aniruddha Basak informed the baby is now healthy and out of danger.

"Because of the baby’s the low weight and the tumor's heavyweight, the treatment turned complicated but the operation ultimately was successful," said Dr. Aniruddan Basak.
