BISHALGARH, Feb 9 (TIWN): Local people were agitated after a Bolero car hit a biker in Bishalgarh, leaving him critically injured.

The incident happened in Bishalgarh Nadilok area. The vehicle escaped after hitting the biker.

The injured person Shamush Mia was hospitalized immediately and was returning home with his bike bearing number TR01N5591.

"The passenger car hit the bike in high speed, and left the spot," said a local.

Injured Shamush Mia was taken to hospital on the back of a fire brigade vehicle, instead of any life support ambulance, which is still a common practice in Tripura due to insufficient ambulance services.
