BISHALGARH, Feb 4 (TIWN): A school bus narrowly escaped from a major accident after it was hit by a tom-tom, a battery operated rickshaw.
On Tuesday, when the school students were on their way home from school, the incident occurred near the BSG Gate No-1 camp area.
The public blamed the e-rickshaw driver for careless and fast riding which caused the incident.
School buses stop from place to place to pick up and drop off the students and any vehicle behind is advised to keep the speed in control but amid busy morning traffic hours, the rickshaw driver was in a rush, and hit the school bus.
Local people have sought police attention in such matters so that the vehicles must maintain discipline on the road.
Students were taken to hospital. Fortunately, no major injury was reported.
